Dolores (Dee) Renfrow

Jan. 5, 1933 — Jan. 9, 2014

DUNCAN — Dolores (Dee) Renfrow, 81, passed away Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014, in Duncan.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014, at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Goodman officiating. Burial will be in the Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home in Marlow.

Dee was born Thursday, Jan. 5, 1933, in Marlow, to Earl and Zelma (Medcalf) Dial. Dee grew up in Marlow and was a 1951 graduate of Marlow High School. She attended Central State where she was a champion swimmer, featured twirler, and a candidate for homecoming queen.

On Nov. 14, 1952, Dee married Bill Renfrow in the First Baptist Church in Edmond. She worked as a geological draftsman for Gulf Oil, retiring after 20 years of service. Dee lived in Ponca City, Enid, Oklahoma City and Edmond, but lived most of her life in the Marlow area. She enjoyed playing dominoes with friends and square dancing. Dee was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Marlow.

Survivors include husband, Bill Renfrow of the home, two sons, Paul Renfrow and wife Karen of Oklahoma City, Jon Renfrow and wife Jennifer of London, England, six grandchildren, Heath, Kyle, Ben, Susanna, Phoebe, Lucy, several nieces and nephews.

Dee was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Dean Dial and Jerry Dial, sister, Jean Crouch.

    Twyla was born Feb. 20, 1937, in Duncan, to Willard and Ruth Tinkle and died April 16, 2014, after a brief illness. Twyla lived her entire life in the Duncan area.

    Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 19, in the Don Grantham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. George Floyd officiating. Burial will follow in the Duncan Cemetery under direction of the Don Grantham Funeral Home.
