Kevin James Kizarr, 43, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2014 in Hinton.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, Jan. 6, 2014, at the Glory Bound Church in Marlow, with Rev. David Woods officiating. Burial will be in the Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home in Marlow.
Family visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, January 5, at Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home in Marlow.
Kevin was born Tuesday, April 7, 1970 in Duncan, to Larry Kizarr, Sr.and Karen (Lowe) Kizarr. He grew up in Marlow and was a 1988 graduate of Marlow High School. He later attended East Central University in Ada. Kevin had lived in the Oklahoma City area for the past twelve years and worked for Gateway Pipeline as a truck driver. Kevin was a loving, tender-hearted person and his family was very important to him. He loved being outdoors and enjoyed activities such as fishing and kayaking. He was an avid OU Sooners fan and enjoyed baseball, especially the Astros. Kevin was affiliated with the Frontline Church in Oklahoma City.
Survivors include, sons, Jakobi Kizarr of Edmond, Kaden Kizarr of Moore; mother, Karen Lowe of Oklahoma City; girlfriend, Cristi Wells of Oklahoma City; brothers, Larry Kizarr, Jr. and wife Lesley of Edmond, Dustin Woods and wife Lisa of Wayne, Michael Woods of Jones; sister, Crystal Shahan and husband Johnny of Duncan; grandparents, Wayne Lowe and wife Clairetta of Kingfisher, Bill Alsobrook and wife Oley of Duncan; several aunts and uncles; three nephews, Denton Woods, Parker Woods, Evan Woods; three nieces, Stephanie Kizarr, Taylor Woods, Katera Shahan,
Kevin was preceded in death by his father, grandparents, A.J. Kizarr and Esther Kizarr, and his Aunt LaVana Thompson.
Pallbearers will be Keith Kizarr, Bryan Kizarr, Bruce Kizarr, Kent Jackson, Bobby Sager, Danny Phillips.
