DUNCAN — Kimberly Ann Johnson, 46, was born Sept. 11, 1966, in Lansing, Mich., to Gertrude and Jack Klippstein Sr. She went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 15, 2013.

She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, daughter, aunt and close friend to many.

Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 27, at the Recovery Church, 3023 N. U.S. Hwy 81, Duncan. Services will be officiated by Dennis Hall.

Kim moved to Lawton as a child, where she gave birth and raised her children. She moved to Oklahoma City, in 2002 with her son Adam, to start a new beginning. Her son Daniel, and his wife moved to Oklahoma City, where they all lived together for many years.

In the fall of 2009, while she was working at OSU-OKC, she met the love of her life. She later married Michael Johnson on June 18, 2010.

She enjoyed walking in Bricktown, drinking Starbucks coffee and eating Reeses Peanut Butter Cups. She enjoyed traveling, karoake and watching movies. Her favorite movie was “Rango.”

She loved being with family and friends, and working with her husband and son. She also loved talking about everything, and playing board games and Yatzee.

Michael and Kim moved to Duncan in March of 2013. They attended the Recovery Church where she sang in the church band. Michael and Kim were close to the Lord and was getting closer to the family, through the Lord’s path.

She will be missed dearly by family and friends. She is now an angel as she was on earth. She will live eternally in Heaven and the hearts of everyone who loved her.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Johnson; three sons and a daughter: Adam and wife Brandi Klippstein, Daniel and wife Justine Ross, Rex and wife Amanda Ross, Heather and husband Josh McMillan; four brothers: James Klippstein, Perry Klippstein, David Klippstein and Jack Klippstein Jr. She was a loving grandmother to six grandchildren: Lily, Shyla, Austin, Dentli, Taegan, newborn Liam; and many other family and friends. Her favorite nephew was David Klippstein “Derby.”

She was preceded in death by both her parents and her first husband, Donald Lee Ross.
