Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 27, at the Recovery Church, 3023 N. U.S. Hwy 81, Duncan. Services will be officiated by Dennis Hall.

Kim moved to Lawton as a child, where she gave birth and raised her children. She moved to Oklahoma City, in 2002 with her son Adam, to start a new beginning. Her son Daniel, and his wife moved to Oklahoma City, where they all lived together for many years.

In the fall of 2009, while she was working at OSU-OKC, she met the love of her life. She later married Michael Johnson on June 18, 2010.

She enjoyed walking in Bricktown, drinking Starbucks coffee and eating Reeses Peanut Butter Cups. She enjoyed traveling, karoake and watching movies. Her favorite movie was “Rango.”

She loved being with family and friends, and working with her husband and son. She also loved talking about everything, and playing board games and Yatzee.

Michael and Kim moved to Duncan in March of 2013. They attended the Recovery Church where she sang in the church band. Michael and Kim were close to the Lord and was getting closer to the family, through the Lord’s path.

Should the date for The World's Largest Garage Sale be changed from the third weekend in July to sometime in October to take advantage of cooler weather like we had this past weekend?

No. It's better in the summer cause kids are out of school.
Yes. More shoppers would come during nice fall weather.
Either time is fine.
