Fundraisers continue to grow for Lane, Harper families

DUNCAN — Napoli’s Italian Restaurant — Donated 40 percent of Aug. 13 proceeds to the Harper family, raising $1,900, and have a donation jar which has raised about $2,000. Total raised: $3,900.

Healing Hands Family Medicine — Raised $12,000 so far and has been given to the Harper family. More donations expected to come in.

Duncan Golf & Tennis Club golf shop — Have had “several thousand dollars” of donations brought in but have taken them directly to the Harper family, so no exact amount is available.

Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill — Donated 10 percent of Aug. 14 proceeds to the family of Sarah Harper and raised $7,667 total.

Don Jose Mexican Restaurant — Raised $1,002 after setting out a donation jar and donating 20 percent of Aug. 14 proceeds to the Harper family.

Christopher Lane Go Fund Me — Fund set up by Marshall Veal, Lane’s baseball teammate at Redlands Community College in El Reno. At 11:37 a.m. Saturday, $164,227 had been given by 4,348 donors in the four days since the account had been set up. Funds go to the Lane family to help with transport and funeral expenses.
