Motorcyclist dies after collision at the Duncan/Lawton Y

DUNCAN — A 58 year old Foster man was killed Saturday when he was struck by another vehicle on U.S. Highway 81 at Rose Road near Marlow.

Douglas H. McDonald died at Duncan Regional Hospital from massive injuries, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol report. Foster was eastbound on Road Road on his 2000 Harley Davidson, when a 2007 Chevy Impala, driven by Julia E. Glover, 60, of Marlow, failed to yield from a stop sign. Foster was thrown about 60 feet. He was transported by AMR to the hospital.

The accident happened at 12:11 p.m. Saturday.
