DUNCAN — A Duncan man was medi-flighted to OU Medical Center Wednesday afternoon, after he was involved in a single-car crash on Parker Road.

Michael Paul Messenger, 37, was transported to Duncan Regional Hospital by AMR and then to OU Medical Center by medi-flight where he was admitted with internal trunk injuries and listed in critical condition. In the accident, he was ejected from the driver side window about 75 feet.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol accident report, the accident happened based on driver inattention inside the vehicle. His vehicle went off the left side of the road, hitting a fence, rolling 3/4 of a time.
