DUNCAN — Auditions for Duncan Little Theatre’s next production “Anything to Declare?” will be held at 6:30 p.m. tonight at DLT’s Main Street location, 824 W. Main.

There will be a cold reading from the script at auditions and no need for advance preparation. This is an adult content play, with no parts for youth.

Interested people can visit the DLT website at to get an audition form in advance, if they want. Production dates for the play are Nov. 8-9, 15-16 at the Simmons Center theater.

A short summary of the play is as follows: The Dupont Family is thrilled their daughter has married a count. However, after the honeymoon, it’s clear the bridegroom has yet to consummate the marriage and is suffering a psychological block brought on by a border crossing guard yelling out “Have you anything to declare?” at a particularly inopportune moment.

The entire Dupont family manages to parade through, along with a sobbing ex-suitor of the bride, a camel dealer and a maid desperate to break ties and start a career of her own.

For more questions call the producer, Tara Harper at 580-836-0710. The show calls for 14 characters.
