Fire consumes home on Marlow;s Rose Road

MARLOW —

The first fire was Feb. 18 and resulted in the loss of the Foursquare Gospel Church building at Fifth and Pine in Duncan. The second fire was minutes before midnight Friday night at 209 E. Spruce. Although that structure didn’t burn to the ground, its homeowner died.
Hall said the Rose Road fire was still smoldering, but he didn’t expect it to last much longer. The firefighters were expected to keep tabs on the fire scene throughout the day Monday.
