DUNCAN — About 7:45 p.m. Thursday, numerous Duncan police and fire units responded to a three-car collision, which caused one vehicle to slide into the residence at 1420 N. 21st.

Duncan Police Patrol Captain Brian Attaway said the accident was a result of the first vehicle, a white Ford F-150, failing to yield to a stop sign while traveling towards Elk Avenue on Overland.

“We had another vehicle that was eastbound on Elk on the inside lane,” Attaway said. “A third vehicle was westbound on Elk in the outside lane.”

When the first vehicle failed to yield, it collided with the second vehicle, a white Lexus, and pushed into the third vehicle, a black Nissan. The collision also caused the car to collide with the house at 1420 N. 21st Street.

Attaway said he believed there were only minor injuries to those involved and there was no major damage to the residence.

One citation was issued to the driver of the first vehicle for failing to yield at the stop sign.
