DUNCAN — The Goodner’s cow has long been a fixture in Duncan at the southeast corner of U.S. Highway 81 and Elk Avenue, where the old Goodner’s Steakhouse was until it burned down years ago. Now that the property has been rezoned and faces new life as a possible retail structure, the bull had to find greener pastures. It was moved in recent days to its new home, north of the 81/Elk Avenue location. It is now at Elk Plaza Shopping Center at the Goodner’s Smokehouse stand and has already attracted several shouts of exclamation from young children who have noticed its “mooo-ving.”
