Election board office open today for absentee voting for Town of Velma

DUNCAN — Stephens County Election Board Office is open until 6 p.m. today for voters in the Town of Velma, who want to vote by absentee ballot for the Regular General Municipal Election.

Voting can also take place from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday at the office, which is on the ground floor of the Stephens County Courthouse. To access the office, use the back (east side) entrance door.

County Election Board Secretary is Peggy Winton. For information, call 580-255-8782.

Voters will need to knock on the Stephens County Election Board’s backdoor in order to vote today since the courthouse is closed for Good Friday holiday.
