Vehicle pursuit ends on DHS campus

DUNCAN — A pursuit initiated by Duncan Police Department today ended in one of the parking lots on the Duncan High School campus just before noon. The school was on lock down, but the length of time is unknown. The chase ended in the faculty parking lot. A suspect was also placed into custody.

A Duncan reporter went to the scene and was escorted by a Duncan school security officer. A wrecker was at the parking lot to secure the suspect’s vehicle. Five Duncan patrol cars were on scene.

The school is no longer in lockdown mode.
