Second death confirmed in Highway 7 accident

DUNCAN — A second person died from injuries sustained during a single-car accident early Tuesday morning on Oklahoma Highway 7 south of Duncan.

Kristy Bowen, 43, of Wynnewood, died Wednesday at Comanche County Memorial Hospital. Bowen is the second of two passengers to die from injuries received during the accident. Shelby Blessin, 25, of Ratliff City, was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to Alexander Roberts Funeral Home.
