A unnamed 14-year-old boy has been charged in juvenile court as an accessory to murder in the death of 14-year-old Alyssa Wiles, said Stephens County District Attorney Jason Hicks. His bond was set at $500,000.
Alyssa was murdered June 10, and found by her father, Brad Wiles, in her bedroom. A State Medical Examiner determined that Alyssa had died from stab wounds.
Duncan Police Department arrested two suspects, both teenage boys, in less than 24 hours. On June 11, Michael Anthony Ray, 16, of Marlow, was arrested for the homicide. On June 12, he appeared in Stephens County District Court and is now held without bond in Stephens County Jail on the charge of Murder in the First Degree with Deliberate Intent. A 14 year old boy was also arrested and had been placed in a juvenile detention facility in Lawton. The boy allegedly served as a lookout for Ray. The boy's initial appearance was set for June 19 in juvenile court, which is closed to the public.
