Three seek two seats for Velma

DUNCAN — Today, polls are open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for voters in the Town of Velma, for the Regular General Municipal Election.

There are three candidates vying for two open seats on the Town board. They are Mayor Sean Enloe and Winston Dumas, and Charles Maxwell. Trustee Debra Thomas has chosen not to rerun.

The voting precincts for this election are No. 56 at Velma Baptist Church and No. 58 at Velma Assembly of God Church.

Stephens County Election Board Secretary is Peggy Winton.
