DUNCAN — A two-vehicle accident happened about 6:20 a.m. today at State Highway 7 at Comanche Lake Road, involving a Comanche man and a Duncan man.

Clifford L. Riddles, 75, of Comanche, was not injured, but Brennen W. Kiser, 29, of Duncan, was transported to Duncan Regional Hospital by AMR Ambulance. He was then transferred by Air Evac to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City where he was admitted with internal trunk injuries. He is listed in serious condition.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol report filed by Trooper Mark Smith, with Troop G of Lawton, Riddles was northbound on Comanche Lake Road and Kiser was eastbound on SH 7, when Riddles failed to yield from a stop sign. Riddles, driving a 2013 Chrysler 300, ran into Kiser’s vehicle, a 1997 Ford Explorer, striking in the right rear tire. That caused Kiser’s vehicle to roll one time.

Seatbelts were in use in both vehicles, noted the accident report.

Smith investigated the accident and was assisted by Stephens County Sheriff’s Office.
