It was no Halloween treat when power was out in most of Duncan and Marlow just after 8:30 p.m. Saturday night.

Duncan Police officers could be seen directing traffic up and down U.S. Highway 81.

Stephens County Sheriff Wayne McKinney said that he d received calls that the power outage stretched into Rush Springs and Chickasha. However, the cause of the outage was not readily known.

Sheriff’s deputies were in Marlow for security reasons.

By 10 p.m. power had been restored to most of Duncan.
