A Duncan man was found dead this morning in the street near the intersection of Second and Maple.

Duncan Police Lt. Jimmy Williams said that police are looking for a 33-year-old man who has been living in Duncan for some time.

“There are no other suspects we are looking for,” Williams said. “But we are looking for two other persons of interest as possible witnesses.”

Williams did not release the name of the victim because police have not received verification that next of kin have been notified, but said that the victim had lived in Duncan for some time.

He said that at 1:10 a.m. today, police received a 911 call of a possible shooting.

When officers arrived on the scene, they found a 26-year-old white male in the roadway in front of a residence.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
