Capt. Mike McClelland of Oklahoma Highway Patrol Troop G, District Attorney Bret Burns, Comanche Police Chief Mike Jones, Duncan Police Chief Jeff Johnson and Marlow Police Maj. Marlin Keys have a quiet moment at the Lawton-Duncan Y around the monument erected to honor Sheriff W.A. Williams who was shot in the line of duty in 1930. Marc Sutton plays taps in the foreground. At the monument Thursday, law enforcement and civilians spent some time remembering all those who have died in the performance of their duty.
