The American Cancer Society of Stephens County’s Survivor Dinner is at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Simmons Center.
OSU Legacy Night brings alums together for a night out on the town

‘Life Through the Lens’ reception, show hosted by Duncan Art Guild
Duncan Art Guild’s ‘Life Through the Lens’ reception, show
Duncan Art Guild’s second annual ‘Life Through the Lens’ reception and show opens Friday, featuring more than 20 photographers of all levels, and more than 80 entries. The show will be held at the Stephens County Fair & Expo Center. A reception will be held 5:30-8 p.m. Friday and the public can vote for People’s Choice Favorite on this night.
The show will be open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and 1-4 p.m. Sunday. There is no cost to attend the show, but all entries will be available to purchase, which benefits both the photographer and the Duncan Art Guild.
Crapes & Cowboys — a western theme on an old favorite
This year, the annual Crepes party will be Crapes & Cowboys and will be at 6:30 p.m. at the Chisholm Trail Heritage Center. Organizer Carolyn Rodgers makes sure to change things up every few years to keep it fresh and fun. There will be barbecue, an auction and even music by “The Old Geezers.”
There is a cost to attend this event to help raise funds for the beautification of Duncan, which is the Crapemyrtle Capital of Oklahoma.
