Sunday Service by Rev. Sue Trei-Conrad will be titled “I Call You ‘Disciple’,” based on John 10:22. A nursery is available. Youth Food Harvest will be this Sunday and they will be collecting corn. Rev. Terry Schlein will preach on “Tossin-n-Turnin’” at West Side Christian Church this Sunday. His Scripture text will be Job 7:4. The pastor’s children’s sermon will be “Part of the Team,” based on 1 Corinthians.
The youth group will meet at 5 p.m. Sunday, the leadership team will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, and the choir will meet for rehearsal at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Open Heaven Church is hosting a Women’s Encounter May 3-4 with anointed and powerful speakers to bring the word of God to ladies.
Speakers include Pastor Tina Grounds of Open Heaven, Pastor Sandy Stewart of Stephens County Worship Center, Pastor Judy Goldstrum of Open Heaven, Evangelist Beth Nichols of Blud Bought Ministries, Pastor Sherry Baxter of Open Heaven, Evangelist Freddie Gibson of Oklahoma City, Evangelist Karla Craft, Pastor Natalie Pearson of HIS Ministries, and Evangelist Becky Morphew of Sweet Aroma Ministries.
Sunday is United Methodist Women Sunday. The White Cross Ringerswill be playing “Gloria Hodie.” The Ladies’ Chorus made up of Chancel Choir members as well as any of the ladies that would like to sing will be singing “Good Ole Gospel Music.”
Rev. Dr. Greg Tolle will continue the sermon series “Faith Lessons From the First Christians.” Sunday the sermon title is “Miraculous Healing Touch.” The scripture is Acts 9:36. The reader will be Barbara Braught.
Excitement is thick in the air around WHBC this week because the BIG 50th anniversary Homecoming and Celebration is this Sunday. Plans are to have regular Sunday services, followed by a meal and a special afternoon program. Come out to worship, have fellowship, and enjoy great company and food.

The Ladies of WHBC are starting up a Bunco night. The first one will take place at 7 p.m. Friday, April 26. Bring a small dish or snack to share.

Interim pastor Toby Walker will bring the messages for both Sunday services. Evening activities include choir practice at 4 p.m., youth meetings at 5 p.m. and worship at 6 p.m.

Sunday’s message is titled “A Scent Pleasing to the Lord .” Pastor Mikel Araujo is preaching a five week series of sermons “Come To Your Senses.” This is the third message of the series.
A nursery will be available for ages 0-4 years. SUMC clothes closet will be open to the public from 1-5 p.m. April 17. There will be a large variety of clothes, shoes and household items for those in need.
If you have any gently used items you’d like to donate, you can drop them outside of the church in the bins marked clothes closet.
The church is also collecting canned goods for Christians Concerned.
Roy Rochell will be ministering this Sunday morning as a guest speaker and Worship Pastor Brian Holland will lead the praise and worship.
Wednesdays are full of children’s activities as well. Wednesday evening meals begin being served at 5:30 p.m.
Everyone able to participate in “Walk A Mile” to focus attention on the plight of foster children in the community will meet at 9 a.m. April 27 at Fuqua Park. Anyone who would like to donate a new pair of children’s shoes or a suitcase with rollers to be given to foster children is encouraged to do so at the park or drop them by the church.

The senior adults will be attending the Traveling Senior Saints Singin’ and Praisin’ Day Tuesday April 23 at Parkview Baptist church.
It’s springtime and that means it’s time for the Traveling Senior Saints 10th annual Singin’ and Praisin’ Day hosted by Parkview Baptist Church, Duncan from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday.
There is no cost for the senior adults. A chicken spaghetti lunch will be provided for all who attend.

Following Sunday School, is the worship service with Holy Communion. This Sunday after worship, All Saints’ will celebrate birthdays and anniversaries for the month of April in Parish Hall.
The study group at 10 a.m. Tuesdays is watching a video series called “The Bible and Christian Life” by John Stott, followed by discussion. This study will run through May 21 and all are welcome.
