Only two other players for Waurika scored, as Kacee Daily had 11 points and Davida England had five. Comanche had eight different players find the net.
The Lady Indians shot just 50 percent from the free throw line, adding to Byerly’s frustration.
“We just never got in rhythm on defense and let them back in the game when we shouldn’t have,” she said. “It’s aggravating but I am glad we won the game.”
Comanche will travel to Marlow next Friday, and Waurika will be against Big Pasture on Monday in the tournament at Chattanooga.
