DUNCAN — “Chris Lane Night at the Ballpark” game between East Central University and Redlands Community College was held Thursday, Oct. 24, 2013 at Duncan High School baseball field in memory of Chris Lane. Lane was tragically killed last August. Lane played for Redlands and East Central. Donations were collected for a scholarship in Lane’s memory. Sarah Harper, Lane's girlfriend threw the opening pitch and during the game, a portrait in memory of Lane was unveiled. East Central players all wore No. 7 and Redlands player all wore No. 2, which were the respective numbers Lane wore for those schools.
