March 22 Church Briefs



Grace and his wife, Louetta began producing and directing religious dramas in the early 70’s  for the purpose of helping people to better understand the Scripture.

The performances are free to the public and all ages are encouraged to attend.  

The Drama will be at 6 p.m. March 31.


True Gospel Tabernacle

Duncan, come to True Gospel Tabernacle and allow Pastor Suff. Bishop Sherman P. Tyler Sr. to teach you how to be lead by the Lord. Sunday school is available for all ages and, as well as free transportation to any and all services. Also offered weekly are services and alternating Sunday night services in Tatums. New Hope Baptist West

In the morning worship service, Bro. Randy Southerland will bring the Palm Sunday message as the church Observes the Lord’s Supper. Choral worship will perform “The Power of the Cross” and music will be provided by John Cornish with “Oh, I Want to Know You More.”

In the evening worship service, Bro. Randy Southerland will bring the message as he continues the study of the Book of Philippians. Music will be provided by Steve Lovett

Wednesday night service and activities include Prayer Time, youth activities and The Gospel Project at 6 p.m. and Santuary Bible study at 6:30 p.m.

Immanuel Baptist

Area ladies interested in a noon time Bible study may want to join the Immanuel women on Mondays during lunch time at 12:15 p.m. in the church parlor. A light lunch is served and there will be just enough time for you to get back to work if you are employed. Other ladies enjoy Tuesday morning Quilting Fellowship at 9 a.m. Bring a piece you are working on or join in on mission projects involving sewing.

Should the date for The World's Largest Garage Sale be changed from the third weekend in July to sometime in October to take advantage of cooler weather like we had this past weekend?

No. It's better in the summer cause kids are out of school.
Yes. More shoppers would come during nice fall weather.
Either time is fine.
