DUNCAN —

Noonday bible study will be Wednesday, March 27 with a return to a discussion of the Savior in the real world. The children and youth will have their regular services at 7 p.m.

Traveling Senior Saints Day

The Traveling Senior Saint’s game day will be hosted by First Baptist Church, Duncan on Thursday in the Branches Room, second floor, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a free lunch of Mexican casserole, salad, and dessert being served at noon.

Come and bring your friends and enjoy a goodtime. This is a time to just visit and have fun. They will play dominoes, moon, and card games, along with other table games. If you don’t play games come and enjoy the fellowship. There will be a devotion and music just before lunch.

All Saints’ Episcopal

This Sunday is Palm Sunday and Jesus’ Triumphal Entry into Jerusalem is celebrated. This special service begins outside in our courtyard and processes into the church. Experience the beginning of a very “Holy Week” that leads to the cross and ultimately to Christ’s resurrection

on Easter morning.

Holy Week Services are as follows: Wednesday, March 27 at 5:30 p.m. in the Chapel - Tenebrae, a service of light and darkness experienced through readings and meditations; Thursday, March 28 at 7 p.m. in Main Church - Maundy Thursday, with a reenactment of Jesus washing the disciples feet, Holy Communion and Stripping of the Altar; Friday, March 28, two services, noon and 7 p.m. in the Chapel. The noon service will be followed by Stations of the cross in the Main Church; Sunday, March 31, two Services, 6:30 a.m. - Easter Sunrise Service and a 10 a.m. Family Service, followed by an Easter Egg Hunt.  

In Sunday School this week, which is for all ages, the focus will be on Jesus’ trial and crucifixion.
