DUNCAN — Jaiah Renee Wilcox and James Dalton Calaway, both of Lubbock, Texas, will exchange wedding vows at 7 p.m. June 8, 2013, at the Brasch-Mitchell Building in Levelland, Texas.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Johnnie and Robin Wilcox of Levelland. Her grandparents are Helen and the late Johnnie Wilcox of Levelland, and Evelyn and the late Joe Wood of Levelland.
Jaiah graduated from Whitharral High School in 2011. She completed courses at South Plains College in 2013, in Levelland.
She is attending Lubbock Christian University, pursing a degree in education. She is employed by United Supermarkets in Levelland.
The prospective groom is the son of Shonna Calaway of Duncan, and Brian Calaway of Littlefield, Texas. His grandparents are Vance and Faith Barrett of Duncan, the late Gates McPhail of Levelland, and JW and Louise Calaway of Duncan.
James graduated from Littlefield High School in 2010. He attended South Plains College in Levelland, where he was pursing a degree in psychology until 2012.
He will attend the police academy in late 2013. He is the assistant manager of the meat market at United Supermarkets in Levelland.
