Staci Elaine Clour of Springer and James Andrew Smith of Ratliff City, have chosen Dec. 5, 2009, as the day they will exchange wedding vows in the Arbuckle Wedding Chapel.

The ceremony will be officiated by the Rev. Mike Johnston.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tracy “Red” Clour of Springer. She is the granddaughter of Vera Clour and the late Ray Clour of Ratliff City; and Lawana McCauley and the late E.F. “Doc” McCauley of Healdton.

The prospective groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Smith of Ratliff City. He is the grandson of Billy Paul Smith and the late Nell Smith of Ratliff City; Jackie Brooks of Duncan; and Anita Jones and the late Kenneth Jones of Velma.

The bride-elect is a 2001 Fox High School graduate. She received her bachelor’s degree in business administration in 2006, from the University of Oklahoma. She is employed as a certified public accountant with Smith, Carney & Co. in Ardmore.

The prospective groom is a 2002 Fox High School graduate. He received his bachelor’s degree in science in 2008, from East Central University. He is self-employed as a contract pumper.
