DUNCAN — A manhunt is on in the Comanche Lake and Oliver Road area tonight after a vehicle was stolen from Freedom Biker Church on Willow Ave. in Duncan, said Stephens County Sheriff Wayne McKinney. The call came in around 7:30 p.m. and SCSO deputies began a pursuit.

Deputies have established a perimeter in that area, after the man drove into a pasture and baled from the vehicle.

“He’s a white male, scruffy beard, wearing a ball cap and some shorts, but we don’t have an approximate age yet. He baled out of the car and we’ve set up a perimeter,” McKinney said.

McKinney said Comanche Police and OHP are assisting in the manhunt.

The vehicle was recovered. Also, during responding to this call, another separate call came in where a man was threatening suicide. McKinney said they were able to talk that man out of his home and he has been emergency ordered detained.

As details are available, this story will be updated.
