Comanche boys.jpg

No. 1 Comanche boys Record: (12-2), coming off a three straight victories against Lone Grove, Sulphur and Lexington. Stength: Size — The Indians have a lot of strengths, but undeniably their biggest one is size (pun intended). It’s not just Jacob Hammond either. Cody Crow, Mason Taylor and Jerron Sanders among others use their size to create mismatches with their opponents. Weakness: First halfs — Comanche doesn’t really have any physical weaknesses, but sometimes their minds aren’t in the right place to start games. They let opponents get comfortable with playing them, then show their superiority in the second half. Player to Watch: senior Jacob Hammond — The six-foot 10-inch center isn’t just an inside presence, showing his ability to hit mid-range jumpshots in the win against Lexington. First-round matchup: vs. No. 8 Bray-Doyle on Tuesday at 9:00 p.m.

Poll

Should the date for The World's Largest Garage Sale be changed from the third weekend in July to sometime in October to take advantage of cooler weather like we had this past weekend?

No. It's better in the summer cause kids are out of school.
Yes. More shoppers would come during nice fall weather.
Either time is fine.
